My Twin Sister Framed Me Up And Was Living My Life While I Suffered in Prison Episode 1 Written By Jerry Smith. The sun cast its golden glow over the bustling city as Chinwe hurried down the street toward her office. She had always been a woman of integrity, dedicated to her job at Crystal Bank, where she worked as a senior accountant. She enjoyed her work, and her colleagues respected her for her diligence. Unlike her twin sister, Chisom, who constantly sought shortcuts to success, Chinwe believed in hard work. As she entered the office, her best friend and colleague, Ada, waved at her. âMorning, Chinwe! Youâre early as always.â Chinwe chuckled, setting her bag down. âYou know me, Ada. The early bird catches the worm.â Ada shook her head. âI wish I had half your discipline.â Just as they settled into their work, the bankâs director, Mr. Okafor, barged in with a stern expression. Behind him stood two police officers. The entire office fell silent. âMiss Chinwe Okeke,â Mr. Okafor said in a grave tone, âyou are under arrest for embezzling company funds.â Chinwe gasped. âSir, what? Embezzlement?â One of the officers stepped forward, holding out a warrant. âMiss Chinwe, you need to come with us.â Confusion swirled in Chinweâs mind. âThis must be a mistake. I would never steal from this company.â Mr. Okaforâs face darkened. âThe evidence is overwhelming. Over ten million naira has been traced to an account linked to you.â Ada grabbed Chinweâs hand. âThis doesnât make sense! Chinwe would neverââ âLetâs go, Miss,â the officer interrupted, snapping handcuffs around her wrists. Tears welled in Chinweâs eyes. âPlease, sir, I swear I didnât do this.â As she was led out of the office, whispers filled the air. Her colleagues watched in shock, some whispering their disbelief while others shook their heads in disappointment. At the police station, she sat in the interrogation room, her heart pounding. A detective, a burly man with sharp eyes, placed a file in front of her. âMiss Okeke, your account received large sums of money over the past three months. Care to explain?â Chinwe stared at the documents in horror. âI have never seen this account before! Someone must have set me up.â The detective sighed. âThatâs what they all say.â Tears streamed down her face. âI am telling the truth! I have no reason to steal.â The door creaked open, and to her shock, Chisom walked in. Her twin sister looked at her with an unreadable expression. âChisom!â Chinwe cried, relieved. âTell them this is a mistake. You know I would never steal.â Chisom crossed her arms. âI came because I wanted to see you. This is serious, Chinwe.â Chinwe frowned. Something about Chisomâs tone was off. âI didnât do this,â Chinwe pleaded. Chisom sighed dramatically. âChinwe, the evidence is against you. Maybe you should just confess and save yourself more trouble.â Chinweâs blood ran cold. âConfess to a crime I didnât commit?â The detective leaned back. âYour sister is making sense. A confession will reduce your sentence.â He said before leaving the two of them. Chinwe turned to Chisom, searching her face. And then, like a lightning bolt, realization struck her. The only person who knew all her account details, her passwords, and her work routines⊠was Chisom. She gasped. âYou did this. You framed me.â Chisom smirked. âI donât know what youâre talking about.â Chinweâs voice broke. âChisom, why? What have I ever done to you?â Chisom leaned in and whispered, âYou always got everythingârespect, love, success. Itâs my turn now.â Chinwe felt as if the floor had been ripped from under her. âYou⊠you ruined my life for jealousy?â Chisom straightened. âEnjoy your time in prison, sister.â Before Chinwe could react, the detective walked back in and declared, âCourt proceedings will begin next week. If found guilty, youâll serve fifteen years.â Chinwe collapsed into the chair, sobbing. The betrayal was too much to bear. To Be Continue...
